
Mini Critterz Animal Education Here at Critterz we believe in children gaining as much experience with animals whilst they are young. This teaches them the values of good animal care, along with them getting up close and personal with the more unusual pets. The animals we take into nurseries are:Cockroaches, Millipedes, Giant African Land Snails, Guinea Pigs, Gerbils, Dogs, Lucy the three legged dog who was abused when younger so lost her leg. All of these animals are friendly, tame and do not hurt. Wildlife Education Lisa has an Environmental Management degree and has always been passionate about wildlife and animals. We can offer various wildlife activities tailored to your needs. In Little Dragons Nursery Lisa has been doing the following: Minibeast hunting; snail hunting; vegetable growing;frog lifecycles; butterfly lifecycles; wildlife crafts;bird cakes; bark rubbings; sunflower growing competition. We are looking into creating a racing board for bugs and beasties so the children can have races, we are also looking into creating feely boxes to put outside so we can put a variety of natural materials in them and get the children to experience different textures. In addition to this lisa has had vast experience of surveying bats and has some great recordings of bat sounds which children are fascinated by as it is not something people or children normally get to experience. We are very flexiable and always like to ask the children what they would like to do. Prices Please contact me for information, from £15.00 per hour.
